Roller Garage Doors VS Sectional Garage Doors

A question commonly asked are they the same product. The answer is No!

Both can be installed to your home, but this is where the similarities end. What is the difference between these two types of garage door?

Roller garage doors open vertically and roll up into a compact cylinder over the garage entrance. Meaning that the roller door does not need a lot of space for opening and closing, and doesn't take up any space inside the garage when open. The Roller Door has a horizontal line pleated profile that come in a large range of colours to choose from.

Sectional garage doors are usually constructed of three to eight panels and slide up and over on tracks overhead inside the roof space of your car port. Each panel of a sectional door joined together with hinges that allow the door to bend and follow a curved path as it opens and closes.

The sectional Garage Door comes in a variety of profile styles.
